Throughout his tenure, David played a central role in advancing farm-based research and innovation across New York State. He championed projects that connected farmers with researchers and service providers, helping ensure that research addressed real-world challenges and delivered practical, on-farm benefits. Under his leadership, NYFVI strengthened partnerships with universities, nonprofits, industry groups, and state agencies, expanding the reach and impact of the Institute’s work.
David’s commitment to collaboration and applied research has left a lasting mark on NYFVI’s programs and on the broader agricultural community. We are grateful for his many contributions and wish him continued success in his next chapter.
