Posted by The Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Infrastructure and Technology Grants closed on February 28th. The program was highly competitive in each of the four regional groups.
Per the timeline provided in the RFP, NYFVI’s goal is to complete the evaluation process and communicate the status of each application in mid-July. Contracting, particularly for larger complex projects, may take several months. Please refer to the Technical Requirements document for further details on how that process will work.
It is anticipated that this program will offer grant opportunities on a regular basis. Eligibility will be specific to NYS Grown & Certified businesses that are producing, processing or distributing a food or beverage product. Potential applicants are encouraged to explore the NYS Grown & Certified program to determine if it isis a good fit for their business.
